Uniform or graduated beads?
Uniform beads repeat the same diameter, while graduated chains increase step by step. The spacing between elements also changes how clearly each segment is felt.

A flexible cord or chain follows movement more readily. A strong, easy-to-grip retrieval loop or handle must remain outside the body.
Choose a manageable size
Check the largest bead, not only the first one. Beginners usually benefit from smaller diameters and gentle progression.
Insertion, removal and cleaning
Use plenty of compatible lubricant and move slowly in both directions. Clean carefully around every bead, joint and cord according to the instructions.
